Faiq Bolkiah Biography. 

Faiq Jefri Bolkiah (born 9 May 1998) is a member of the Bruneian Royal Family and a Bruneian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Thai club Chonburi and the Brunei national team. He has served as the captain of the national team

Early career

In 2009, while as an individual from A.F.C. Newbury, Bolkiah marked a one-year manage the Southampton F.C. Foundation. He was still with Southampton until at minimum December 2011. In 2014, Bolkiah marked a two-year youth contract with Chelsea of the Premier League after beforehand preparing with Reading and testing with Arsenal. During his experience with Arsenal, Bolkiah contended in the 2013 Lion City Cup against Corinthians, Eintracht Frankfurt, PSV Eindhoven, and a Singapore youth choice. He scored an objective in a 2-1 triumph over the group from Singapore. With his agreement with Chelsea set to terminate in summer 2016, he left the group in December 2015. After a preliminary with Stoke City, he finished paperwork for Leicester City on a detailed three-year proficient agreement in March 2016.He further marked a one-year expansion to his arrangement in the late spring of 2019.

Marítimo

On 23 September 2020, Bolkiah endorsed on a free exchange to Marítimo of Portugal's Primeira Liga. After 90 days, he made his introduction with under-23 group in a 3-3 home draw against Sporting CP U23 subsequent to being named in the firing line-up. After 45 days, he was named as a Marítimo substitute without precedent for an association match against Sporting CP.

On 11 April 2021, he made his senior debut for Marítimo B, coming on as a substitute in a 2-1 win over Gondomar.

International Career

Bolkiah was qualified to address the United States and Brunei. He was explored for the young groups of the United States yet decided to address Brunei, doing as such at the U19 and U23 levels including at the 2015 Southeast Asian Games. In that competition, he scored in a 1-2 loss to Timor Leste. He was relied upon to make his senior global presentation on 15 October 2016 in a 2016 AFF Championship capability match against Timor-Leste. Individual life

Faiq is the child of Jefri Bolkiah, Prince of Brunei and nephew of Hassanal Bolkiah, the current Sultan of Brunei. He was brought into the world in Los Angeles and holds both Bruneian and American citizenship. He was taught in Great Britain at Bradfield College.
